René Staar's Fifth Mold for mezzo soprano (vocalise), B-flat clarinet, 2 violins, viola, cello, accordion, and piano from the Monumentum pro Thomas Alva Edison op. 34 was premiered by the Ensemble Wiener Collage in the Clairmont Hall of the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music of Tel Aviv University on 18 December 2018.

The concert was part of an exchange project of the Ensemble Wiener Collage, in which four contemporary Israeli and four Austrian composers had the opportunity to meet each other. Also included were new works by Ayal Adler, Oled Bogod, Netta Aloni, Shai Cohen, Gerald Resch, Herbert Lauermann and Zdislaw Wysocki.

The concert will be repeated at the Arnold Schönberg Center on 5 March 2019.
